Giant Bulbasaur Crochet Pattern

Well hello there.  I know I promised scheduled patterns when I published my Charmander pattern.... but it turns out I have once again underestimated my ability for procrastination.

On the bright side I've cast on two blankets, a sweater, and started designing yet another knit top.

On the not so bright side, I'm behind on publishing my Kanto set.  So it's time to get on that.

Here's Bulbasaur.  Hopefully Squirtle isn't too long off (I know better than to make promises now.)

Enjoy making it!  If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments!

Now, stuff the body, and sew the head onto it.  I find it useful to use sewing pins to confirm the placement.

Sew the ears onto the head, sew the pod and legs onto the body.

Lastly, add your felt details!  I've provided some pictures below for felt placement as well as limb placement when sewing stuff on. To attach the felt you can either use fabric/hot glue, or you can hand sew the eyes and markings on using thread.

Bulbasaur Crochet Pattern :D

I had planned on waiting a couple of weeks before posting the next pattern in this series, but when it came time to work on my thesis paper naturally I decided that this was more important.

I'll be posting Squirtle next (in a week or two... depending on how much I'm focusing on coursework.) and possibly Pikachu after that, if I can write the pattern out in a way that makes sense.  After that, I'm open to suggestions!

Anyways, without further ado, here's my Bulbasaur pattern:
